LET'S say students could be conscripted to take the right languages --
where would we find the teachers? This question of teacher supply
preoccupied Brett Mason, shadow minister for universities, last week

Studies in Schools Program, has just ended after four years. The
officially favoured Asian languages are Mandarin, Japanese, Indonesian
and Korean.
