Dear Colleagues:

This past weekend on October 10th and 11th, we hosted the 13^th Meeting 
of /LANSI (The Language and Social Interaction Working Group)/, and we 
are now pleased to share photos of the event that are, in many ways, a

This has been a difficult year for many – with travel, funding, etc.. To 
all our colleagues for making a special effort to be here – whether it 
is from as close as New Jersey or as far as Japan, Denmark, Sweden, UK, 
and Canada, please accept our heartfelt gratitude. Because of you, this 
petite, homegrown, ‘boutique’ conference gets to survive another year.

And most importantly, thank you for supporting our 10-10 format (10 min 
talk+10 min discussion) -- with all your participation and engagement 
that filled our hearts and fueled our minds, bringing us yet another 
step closer to remodeling LANSI into an intellectual playground. In the 
spirit of play, we also launched a new closing this year by playing 
LANSI trivia. Congratulations again to our winner SDL and all the 
near-winners! It was a delightful ending to an exhilarating two days.
