[Lingtyp] pain interjections

Another Yahgan verb: hanasha (sh as in English) i. To exclaim, cry or make
any sudden call, or cry, articulate or otherwise whether mo-ved to do so by
pain, surprise, fear or joy. To cry out.
It may be partly composed of ha:sha 'exclaim', often reduced to -sha in the
small handful of onomatopes in the language.
