Hello everyone,
My name is Maya Hendrix, a student in the Research Master's programme in History and Philosophy of Science at Utrecht University. For my master thesis, I am investigating the relationship between endangered languages and knowledge loss, and I was hoping you could help me by filling out a questionnaire.
I have created a questionnaire for researchers involved in endangered language documentation projects. The aim is to create a more detailed overview of the specific "types" of knowledge that are lost when a language disappears, and to investigate whether certain kinds of knowledge require more attention or specialized expertise for documentation.
If you could find the time to share your experience on one or two endangered languages that you have worked on closely, that would be greatly appreciated. Partially answering the questionnaire is also an option. I have attached the questionnaire in both Word and PDF formats.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Maya Hendrix
