[Lingtyp] finiteness

Hi Nigel and all,

For what it's worth, I have worked on non-finiteness in Australian
languages based mostly on Nicolaeva's (2013) criteria. The work is in the
form of a PhD thesis chapter and a few presentations which I have available
online on ResearchGate. The presentations are below; the first reference
should be most relevant to your query. Anyone who is interested in the
thesis (chapter) itself is welcome to contact me for a copy. (Some of my
terminology, like 'small verb' has changed since I've worked on this.)

Luk, E. (2021). A typological survey of non-finite clause linkage in
Australian languages. Presented at the workshop Emerging Topics in Typology
(ETT). Online, 25 October–22 November. https://lirias.kuleuven.be/3753116

Luk, E. (2022). Between complex predicates and clause linkage: A typology
of northern Australian languages. Poster presented at the 14th Conference
of the Association of Linguistic Typology (ALT 2022). Austin, USA, 15–17
December. https://lirias.kuleuven.be/4006491

Luk, E. (2023). Multifunctional converbs in Australian languages. Presented
at the 56th Annual Meeting of the Societas Linguistica Europaea (SLE 2023).
Athens, Greece, 29 August–1 September.
