[Lingtyp] Quantifier meaning both 'each' and 'any' ?

Ital. *ogni (< *Lat*. omnis) * behaves just as Slovak *každý *and Germ.
*jeder::*
*Ogni invitato ricevette al suo arrivo un bicchiere di alcolici *.” Each
guest was offered a glass of alcoholic beverage upon arrival"
*Troverai la stessa cosa in ogni grammatica dello Slovacco "*You will
find the same in any grammar of Slovak".

The same holds for French (*chaque*) and the other Romance languages.
Perhaps the difference between 'any' and 'each' is not generally diffused.

Best,
Paolo
