Dear Linguist,
If it is possible to correct a typo in a WWW address given in
Linguist List item 7.541: 2 (a typo that might still matter),
here is one:
It says:
http://www.joensuu.fi/humanistinenTDK/Kielet/SKY.html
It should say:
http://www.joensuu.fi/HumanistinenTDK/Kielet/SKY.html
The item is a Conference Announcement "Tacit Assumptions
in the Study of Language", Sep 2-4, 1996. The WWW address
gives more detailed information.
Yours,
Jarno Raukko (U-Helsinki, Finland)

On-Line Resources and Journals Related to ELT and Linguistics (3rd
ed.) Available
We originally compiled the above resource for postgraduate students in
linguistics at Lancaster University. We have distributed the 2nd edition
to more than 160 people on request by e-mail since last January. We
expanded the list of mailing lists and lists of web sites. We also added
four articles the Internet, mailing lists, the world wide web, and
publishing papers using the Internet. Though we did not revise the lists
of useful journals, we have expanded the part 1 (about on-line
resources) to about seven times its previous length.
If you are interested in this material, we will send information on how
to get access to it on the Internet by e-mail. All you need to do is send
an e-mail message with the following in the subject line:
request: (the name of the list where you saw this announcement) :(the
country where you are)
I will use the return command to send you directions on how to get
access to this resource. I am requesting the name of the list and the
country for statistical purposes.
If you want to send me a message, use a different subject line,
otherwise I will just send you the instructions.
