I'm writing an article on the alternations of the verbs in the Persian
language. I have done some research and I have found Dr. Samareh's
book 'ava' shenasi-ye zaba'n-e fa'rsi. Could you please help me to
find some other materials on the phonology of Persian? Thank you very
much!

						Sincerely yours,
						Behnaz Izadi

I have looked long and hard for the origin of the the phrase "pushing
the envelope." Can you help me understand its literal meaning and how
it came to be understood as "putting on too much pressure?"

Tks.,
Tony
