AUTHOR INFORMATION
Dr Minako O'Hagan is a translation/localization consultant based in
New Zealand. Having a background in translation and language
technology studies, her research interests include localization,
Machine Translation, cross-cultural non-verbal communication in
Virtual Reality and more recently Internet-based instruction for
translation and interpretation.
Dr David Ashworth specialises in translation and computer mediated
communication, in particular the use of the computer in instruction
and collaborative work. He also teaches seminars and courses in the
teaching of Asian languages, with special interest in the use of the
Internet to facilitate interactions.
