We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.
To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at
http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.html.

Dear linguists,
I am a postgraduate student; the subject of my research is about the different
functions of verb complement in English. I use the ICE as the authentic data of
my research. I face a problem in finding information about the functions and
categories in English. I will be so grateful if you send me electronic sources
about the function and categories in English.
Best regards,
Ateka

Hi,
We are looking for French and Italian native speakers who participate in
our online experiments on polysemy. Preferably, the participants should be non
linguists and students. We would be glad if the French and Italian linguist
list users forward our query to their non-linguist acquaintances. Every
participant has a chance to gain 40 Euro. Filling out the questionnaire will not
take more than 30 minutes. You will find our questionnaires under the following
addresses:
www.sfb441.uni-tuebingen.de/b6/enquete.html (French questionnaire)
and
www.sfb441.uni-tuebingen.de/b6/inchiesta.html (Italian questionnaire)
Thanks in advance
