Meeting Description:

A conference on ''Sociolinguistic Perspectives: Contact – Variation – Change''
will be held at the University of Bern on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13
2023.

The conference will focus on topics and research projects from the field of
sociolinguistics, which deal with linguistic phenomena related to language
contact, variation and change.


Call for Papers:

We welcome contributions on quantitative and qualitative work dealing with the
analysis of language contact, variation and change using sociolinguistic
methods and theories. 

Abstracts in English or German can be submitted now.
