Meeting Description:

The International Conference on the Intersection of Language, Culture,
and Society in Iraq invites scholars, researchers, linguists,
translators, and literature specialists to submit their original
research papers and contributions for presentation at the conference.
This conference aims to explore the dynamic relationship between
language, culture, and society in the context of Iraq, with a
particular focus on literature, translation, and linguistics.

Call for Papers:

The conference will bring together scholars and practitioners from a
range of disciplines, including linguistics, literature, translation
studies, cultural studies, anthropology, and education with the aim of
fostering interdisciplinary discussions and facilitating a deeper

Venue and Location
The conference will be held at the Department of English, Faculty of
Education, University of Kufa, located in the historic city of Najaf,
Iraq. This venue offers a vibrant academic setting ideal for fostering
scholarly discussions and networking opportunities.

Submission Guidelines:
Abstracts of proposed papers should be submitted in English, with a
maximum of 250 words. Please include a brief author biography (maximum
150 words) and contact information. Submissions should be sent to
edu.english at uokufa.edu.iq

Important Dates:
Abstract Submission Deadline:  Saturday, 1 February  2025
Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday, 11 February 2025
Conference Dates: 11 March 2025

language, culture, and society in Iraq.
