De es zijn de akkers die bij het dorp wonen en buiten het centrum ( brink)
vallen van het typische Drenthse dorp. Je zou er het Drenthse woordenboek
bij
kunnen raadplegen; in mijn jeugd in Drenthe en nu nog steeds in het
dagelijkse taalgebruik van familie leden die nog boer zijn, wordt er gedacht
aan de akkers als er over es gepraat wordt. 'k Hoop dat dit helpt. Roeliena
