From: R. F. Hahn <sassisch at yahoo.com>
Subject: Resources

Folks,

I happened to watch a very interesting German-language TV program from
Eupen, Belgium. The subject is revival of "Platt", used as a general label
for regional non-standard language varieties, specifically Low and Middle
Franconian ones. There are also references to varieties and their movements
in the Netherlands and Germany.

The hosts interview the language activist Joseph Frins of the Netherlands.

Parts of the interviews are about the upcoming dialect festival Os
Moddersproak.

You can download this program on-line:

Click on "Video ansehen" on the bottom.

Enjoy!

Reinhard/Ron
