Thanks, everyone.
Through the same Amazon channels,* you can also order the original English
version as well as various versions in other languages in the same design.
So you can compare the text of the different versions.

(I will add links as the book becomes available at various branches. At
this point in time, it is not listed at any but the American branch.)
Yes, translating (“nativizing”) Alice with all its wordplay and nonsense
rhymes is extremely challenging, but it is a dream come true for any
creative translator that is also a writer in his or her own right.
Thanks again! And happy holidays to you and yours!

Best' Ron un Lowlanners,
ick heff mi wieldess all 'n Kopp makt un stell mi dat Oewerdragen "Alice im
Wunderland" in dat Nedderdüütsche bannig swor vör.
Ick schuw noch wat hentau:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_im_Wunderland
Ick klickte ok noch anner Websieden an, ok Videos.
Rot), de Ruup up denn' rot-witten Poggenstauhl (Fliegenpilz), hett rot-witt
faselt...
Man, dat is mi nu all wiss, as Plattdüütsch Wark is dat ein Novum.
Hier nix as Snei, Snei un wedder Snei...
Hartlich.
Hanne
