SIL Doulos Font on a Mac

A couple questions:
- Did you download “SIL Doulos” or “Doulos SIL”? The former is a legacy font; the latter is Unicode.
- Did you download the font because you already have data that says that it is in that font and you are trying to read it, or because you are trying to create new data with that font?
- What version of Word are you using? (Several years ago, the Mac version of Word was quite a bit behind the Windows version in terms of Unicode support, and I tended to use OpenOffice or LibreOffice instead. But that was already quite a while ago.)
This probably won’t solve your problem, but these details will help anyone trying to help you further.
