Regarding translations of Slovo o polku Igoreve:
  A new book on the Slovo was just published by The Birchbark Press of Karacharovo. It has new translations, not only of the Slovo but of nearly all the folkloric parallels and related historical works. It also has new textual parallels to parts of the Slovo and evidence that the Slovo was not written down until sometime in the 1200's.
