Not to mention RID at 2003 in Chicago. Oh, and the LI in Michigan. And 
ICLC in Logroño, plus Dgfs in Vienna. ad infinitum. Or ad vomitorium.

In parts of the US we have an expression: "Fer cryin' out loud!" How 
about not worrying about who we might inconvenience or offend, and just 
schedule the $%^@& conference? Plenty will come, and whoever doesn't 
make it this time, will next time. Just like any other conference.
