Yes. Agreed. SignPuddle is brilliant! And the features come so fast,
that my testing it is just not fast enough...so we will all have to
wait until Stephen is back from his vacation over Easter...We are soooo
lucky, aren't we?!!

Thank you for trying it the other way, Anny - I was right then. At the
moment we have to be an editor of both dictionaries to have access to
both...and not everyone should be editors to all dictionaries...you are
right...

So Bill and Anny - thanks for your feedback on this...

There is one problem that you all may not realize. Back when SignPuddle
began, we were creating PNGs, rather than SWML...Now, when we create
new signs, SignMaker makes both PNGs and SWML code...

The problem is that the copy feature that Stephen developed is only
working on those signs that have an SWML equivalent, and any old signs
that were entered before SWML, cannot be copied....the new feature is
only working for those signs that have been entered recently...

Most SignPuddles have no problems like that, but two of the
SignPuddles...the ASL and the DGS (German SL) both have a lot of PNGs
with no SWML....so until all SignPuddles are updated, the copy feature
will not work with a lot of the ASL signs in the dictionary...so this
new copy feature has its limitations at the moment...even if you became
an editor of the ASL SignPuddle, Anny, you would find that a lot of
signs would not have the copy feature available anyway...

Val ;-)
