glossing

As has been mentioned before, SignWriting is not glossing. That can be
a very easy mistake. ;-)

Fortunately, some of use know glossing because of other venues. For
the general user, IX and Pro-1 are the same because they both refer to
the pointing of the index finger (as Cherie has mentioned). However,
if you are using glossing in more of a research matter, the difference
between "pointing at an object or location" verses "pointing to refer
to an object or location that isn't necessarily there" is shown by IX
and Pro-1 respectively.

Hope this helps you out, and if you have any other questions I am sure
someone will have an answer. Hopefully more directly related to
SignWriting, but nonetheless. ;-)
