Hi AnnaGrace, and Josenilson, Rubens, Adam, Uta and everyone -

Thank you for the suggestion of writing “Jabberwocky”. It certainly is a wonderful piece of literature. I saw the video and found it a little dark for my old eyes to write. I know you said maximum brightness will help on my computer screen, but for me at this time, I need more modern videos that are better quality to see. Maybe you can write it, Anna Grace? Certainly that will be wonderful. And certainly we can share reading your writing and discussing the issues that arise.

A while back in 2021, Josenilson suggested writing this video and we started and then we never continued. I can see this one better:

I

Josenilson - Do you still want to write it? I believe you already did write it in SignPuddle 2? I will be happy to share this one as well as others too…

Val ;-)

In both English and this ASL performance, "Jabberwocky" is not meant to have full of meaning, but rather as a linguistic exercise in an amusing form. It is strangely familiar and yet not entirely making sense. That's because the morphemes are the same yet jumbled while the grammar is present.
