The Department of South Asian Languages and
Civilizations, University of Chicago, invites
applications for the position of LECTURER in HINDI for
the 2008-09 academic year. The person appointed will
be required to teach two levels of Hindi, first- and
second-year. A Teaching Assistant and other
pedagogical help will be available. Preference will be
given to applicants who can also teach Urdu script.
Degree of M.A. required.
The appointment is expected to start on September 1.
