Dag ok best' Ron, von hüt an ut BUGA-Stadt Swerin (Bundesgartenschau),

vielen und großen Dank für die mir so wichtige und wertvolle Information
(Weiterbildung). Mir war, als säße ich in einem Hörsaal der besten UNI.
Ich habe alles begriffen und staune, dass sogar Vokale wie " i und  u"
...shifty ~ schuftig
sich verändern können (*labial assimilation).*
Das ist für mich Neuland, aber zugleich auch Erkenntnis beim Erlernen einer
fremden Sprache (z.B. Englisch).
Deine große Mühe ist mir eine wunderbare Hilfe.

Danke, Hanne.

Ich muss noch kurz etwas hinzufügen.

Noch im Mittelenglischen stand *gh* für den Laut, den wir *ch* schreiben. *
Night* wurde (wie noch heute im Schottischen) wie *nicht* ausgesprochen, *
laugh* wie *lawch*. Heutzutage wird *laugh* wie *lahf *ausgesprochen. Also
hat auch in diesem Fall ein Wechsel von *ch* zu *f* stattgefunden.

Das bedeutet, das es sich um eine phonologische Tendenz in einer größeren
Gruppe verwandter Sprachen handelt.

Wieder fuchtig holden!
