“You’re wartin’ me to death”?  Never heard it.  And I’m 83.

Could it be from a specific region?  The example suggests some kind of
Southern US (Y’all), but the reaches of y’all extend far!

English GLAZIER of DRAGON-FLY  = Dutch  GLAZENMAKER  =  Frisian  WARTEBITER

"Wart" or "wrat" or "worte" not used as e verb!
