Well, if this list works like the other listserv lists, it might be
easier to suspend mail using the SET CHINOOK NOMAIL command than to
unsubscribe; hopefully SET CHINOOK MAIL will resume the list without
having to go through the subscribe/confirm process.

(I have a couple of busier lists "on hold" in this fashion until I get
caught up.)
