"rancheree"

Klahowya,

Nawitka, the word "rancheri'a" is common in California, referring to
villages of indigenous people.

I've been to Rancheria Falls, Yukon Territory, Canada (a wonderfully
beautiful place), so I can tell you the word is used at least as far north
as there.

The variant "rancheree" is new to me, however.

Best,
Dave
